The system even performs over-the-air updates to improve its performance over time. The Cayenne Electric doesn’t offer multi-adaptive safety belts.

In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the EX60 are reminded to check the back seat when a sensor determines the back seat is occupied. The Cayenne Electric doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

Earlier warning of stopped traffic, traffic signals, dangerous road conditions, weather, or accidents, can keep driver's safer and prevent crashes. The EX60 has Connected Safety, a system that seamlessly communicates important warnings to the driver about impending danger, if they're available. The Cayenne Electric doesn’t offer a system that can receive automated systems from other vehicles.

Both the EX60 and the Cayenne Electric have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver and front passenger knee airbags, front seat center airbag, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, post-collision automatic braking systems, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning and driver alert monitors.

Volvo pays for scheduled maintenance on the EX60 for 1 year and 10,000 miles longer than Porsche pays for maintenance for the Cayenne Electric (2/20,000 vs. 1/10,000).

There are over 36 percent more Volvo dealers than there are Porsche dealers, which makes it easier should you ever need service under the EX60’s warranty.

The EX60 can travel with zero emissions for 295 to 400 miles (dependent on model). The Cayenne Electric can’t move without running its internal combustion engine.

For better maneuverability, the EX60’s turning circle is 4.6 feet tighter than the Cayenne Electric’s (37.1 feet vs. 41.7 feet).

The Volvo EX60 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 850 to 950 pounds less than the Porsche Cayenne Electric.

The EX60 is 7.2 inches shorter than the Cayenne Electric, making the EX60 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.
